Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, the founder, and leader of the Isha Foundation filed a petition in the Madras high court on Friday, requesting that a direction be given to conducting an external audit of the temples in Tamil Nadu.

In the PIL seeked direction for the constitution of a commission to look at devolution of shrines to the community and therefore the formation of a committee which might manage temples, their rituals and practices and to look at devolution of the temples to the community.
