‘’Sanitize public places and provide free masks to the needy’’, Plea in Bombay High Court

Public interest litigation has been filed by the citizen circle for social welfare and education through their president Arshad Ali Ansari. They sought the installation of sanitizer dispensers in public places, disinfect public roads, and distributing free masks to poor and needy persons who are without masks. The petitioner said that only lockdown will not break the chain of the virus, the pandemic is unprecedented and aggressive actions are required. The petitioner sought the installation of sanitizing machines in various railway stations, bus stops, etc.

The plea sought the selection of a panel or a commission of expert to help the high court during the pendency of the plea.
